Co-founder of community health worker program dedicated to improving health in Peru’s underserved Sacred Valley region. Advise staff on fundraising, marketing, legal, financial, and evaluation activities. Successfully fundraised for start-up costs, led development of new website and branding, and wrote effective applications for marketing activities, 501(c)(3) designation, and pro bono legal assistance. Direct board activities, including fundraising strategy, strategic planning, budgeting, engagement, recruitment, and nonprofit best practices.

Co-directed a development team responsible for bringing in $1.5M. Oversaw annual fund budget, organized Town Hall’s premier Talk of the Town event, regularly participated in Development and Finance Committees, worked closely with Town Hall’s Board, spearheaded first annual report, and served as a thought partner for Town Hall’s $30M capital campaign. Supervised Senior Annual Giving Manager and Institutional Giving Manager.

Led this nonprofit policy and advocacy center’s development and fundraising strategies and activities, including major gift cultivation, annual fund direction, workplace giving, grantwriting, budgeting, campaigns, board engagement, and special events. With Executive Director, developed annual budget and organizational strategies. Represented EOI at external events. Secured multi-year grants, directed annual fundraising gala event, developed successful inaugural donor cultivation and outreach events, created first annual report in five years, launched board committees, and increased overall revenue by over 30% in two years.

Managed two high-profile CCF projects - including project outreach, project and research activities, events and activities, internal and external meetings, and development activities.

Served as key aide to Center Director, assisted with research and coordination of projects, managed Center website and newsletter, edited journal articles, researched funding prospects, wrote press releases, arranged meetings and logistics, organized events, and acted as representative of the Center.

Provided English language, literature, and grammar instruction at a middle/high school. Ran various after-school English classes, attended University language classes at Technische Universität Braunschweig, and worked as a member of the U.S. Consulate teaching program.
