I am an eager, diligent future mechanical engineer studying at Purdue University. I am projected to graduate with a bachelor's in mechanical engineering in May of 2025 with a minor in computer and electrical engineering. I am on the board of Purdue's Society of Women in Engineering (SWE) chapter where we inspire rising women engineers, work on projects together, and support one another. Within SWE, I am a technical director where I oversee two technical teams and hold technical talks with companies. Last year, I was a chair for our Grand Prix team where I taught and organized incoming and aspiring pit crew members on our kart team that races once a year in Purdue's Grand Prix. Additionally, I organized our team's budget and formed connections with companies for sponsorships for our team. Being a part of the team, I collaborate with 6 other members and gain hands-on experience with kart mechanics. Furthermore, I am a part of Silver Wings which is a club partnered with the Air Force ROTC where we do service projects to better our community. I was also a part of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program my freshman year. I was an active cadet in the AFROTC program where I trained and learned leadership skills and discipline. I was given many obstacles while leading my peers and had to improvise quickly to overcome them. I am no longer a part of the program because I was medically disqualified from the military. However, I am still passionate about serving my country in other ways outside of uniform and making an impact for generations to come. Growing up I was a part of Girl Scouts and volunteered my time for service projects and to lead younger scouts during summer camp. Furthermore, I grew up in the music department and did choir, band, and marching band. I learned how to stand out as a musician and work on my self-confidence here. During my Junior and Senior years of high school, I was promoted to Colorguard captain where I would create routines, teach the younger Colorguard girls, and plan events to ensure everyone felt welcome. To top it off, I played soccer throughout my life and loved the sport and team bonding.
