I am a Community Planning-, Capacity Building- & Engagement-Professional who is passionate about supporting and guiding sustainable and feasible changes in local communities. I have community development experience including designing and facilitating public engagement; long-range planning; open space, park, and trail planning; and grant writing. I bring a well-rounded perspective to the table as I have worked for a consulting firm, non-profit organization, and government agency.My recent experience includes work on the Centers for Disease Control High Obesity Program 1809 grant. My work focuses on conducting community assessments in both urban and rural contexts and providing evidence-based tools and data to inform decision-making and development processes. The work centers around public engagement, equity, and policy, systems, and environmental (PSE) efforts to best impact locally-driven community health improvements.
