• Lead the Research & Prospect Management team who are responsible for the analysis of data for fundraising and the research data about donors and prospective donors of the System• Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of, but not limited to, pipeline activity and movement to drive strategic planning across Institutional Advancement• Oversee the annual strategic fundraising plan for the Texas Tech University System and its components• Support the management and tracking of prospects, proposals and donors by regularly meeting with the development directors and reviewing their prospect strategies• Provide strategy recommendations regarding the assignment, alignment with fundraising initiatives, and moves management of assigned prospects• Participate in trainings and professional organizations in order to stay current on trends and technology related to prospect management and research• Provide training and documentation to ensure Institutional Advancement has a clear understanding of prospect management and research policies, procedures and tools• Supervise the fundraising efforts, including the proposal and reporting cycles, for local Foundations. Performs varied and complex duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and/or program. Requires independent judgement and application of established policies and procedures. Works under general supervision with management oversight of one staff member. Partner with appropriate departments to monitor foundation gift compliance. Maintain professional standards of communication, both written and oral, with all internal and external constituents. Support the VC and Associate VC of the principal gifts program to establish fundraising programs and initiatives to solicit qualified donor prospects for the TTU System. Management of administrative staff as assigned. Maintain accurate proposal, funding, and reporting records.Review and edit faculty and staff proposals prior to submission to grant funding sources.Prepare and assist in the preparation of high-level strategy, gift proposals, implementation processes, and cultivation and stewardship materials for principal gift prospects and donors.Draft, review, and edit priority correspondence with donors to TTU System.Organize, administer, and report upon the grant and funding process for principal donors and foundations who provide private support to the TTU System.

Draft priority correspondence, proposals and reports. Act as a liaison between donors and university grant recipients. Maintain accurate proposal and report records. Daily interactions with donors, faculty, and staff in order to be more informed and proactive with scheduling and communication. Stay informed about Associate Vice Chancellor’s daily activities. Provide reminders for the Associate Vice Chancellor. Make decisions in the absence of the Associate Vice Chancellor.
