Enterprise Ireland is the government organization responsible for supporting the growth of Irish enterprises in international markets. We work alongside Irish companies to help them start, expand, innovate, and achieve global sales success. As the world's second-largest seed investor, Enterprise Ireland is instrumental in fueling the next generation of Irish entrepreneurs.As an intern in the High Potential Start-Up (HPSU) Division—the venture capital arm of the Irish government—a diverse experience was gained, with each day presenting new projects, individuals, and challenges. A strong sense of being part of a dedicated team was felt, contributing meaningfully to the impactful work that supports Irish start-ups.Key responsibilities included:- Assisting in a range of projects and events, such as the Start-Up Showcase 2021 and initiatives reviewed by the Investment Committee.- Supporting the Competitive Start Fund and participating in User Acceptance Testing.- Engaging directly with clients, providing hands-on assistance, while being mentored by a team of Development Advisors.This internship experience was invaluable for developing adaptability, enhancing industry knowledge, and reinforcing a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Experience at The Woodenbridge Hotel provided hands-on engagement with customers daily, where delivering exceptional service and prioritizing customer satisfaction were key. Emphasis was placed on adapting to customer needs and maintaining a high standard of service quality.A wide range of functions, including weddings, events, and bar service, were supported, resulting in the development of a versatile skill set. Initiative and independent work were often required, while collaboration within a team was equally important to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for guests.
