Responsible for overall HR support for Ready Mix operations in Alabama and Florida panhandle (approximately 250 employees). Support includes employee relations, recruiting and hiring, retention, and management training.

• Responsible for the hiring of hourly and salaried staff including the creation of job requisitions, recruiting, and interviewing• Perform background and reference checks for candidates • Accountable for employee relations matters with the business• Work closely with HR Business Partners in the region• Manage 10+ plant facilities with over 100 personnel• Responsible for employee compliance with all organizations policies and procedures• Conducted new hire orientations covering company benefits, including health insurance, FSA/HSA, disability and 401K investment strategy• Responsible for employee relations and Hotline investigations, exit interviews, and personnel records
