Works closely with various clinical staff members and researchers in the Radiology Department at the University of Kansas (KU) Hospital and KU Medical Center (KUMC) to support the successful completion of research study protocols.  Development and implementation of effective and efficient processes  Reviews study protocols, consents patients, and completes all necessary documentation and appointments/procedures per study protocols.  Completes business administration tasks for the research team, including outreach internal and external to the Radiology Department, invoicing for services rendered, and account reconciliation.

Serves as a research assistant charged with developing a successful process to accomplish the educating prospective patients of University of Kansas Medical Center regarding research, as well as collecting consent forms and gathering specimen collections.• Nurture positive, long-term relationships with clinical staff to promote successful specimen collections• History of recruitment of over 3,000 patients, more than any consenter in the history the repository• Successful implementation of repository activities in two venues, most recently accomplishing doubling of consents and collections over 4 months though process improvement and interdepartmental teamwork.
