- Adviser: Dr. Jonathan Warrick, USGS- Analyzed the thermal response in diurnal stream temperature fluctuations to a large precipitation event during a drought year in Fall Creek, Santa Cruz Mountains- Deployed temperature sensors along 5 mile stretch of stream for 2 months; collected data regularly at each location including pH, temperature, total dissolved solids, and field notes with stream morphology descriptions- Created georeferenced maps of the field site in ArcMap overlaid with data sets for landuse, hydrography, cultural, biotic, and geophysical data- Analyzed and distilled the temperature sensor data with 10,000+ entries into a workable and comprehensible spreadsheet- Generated a cross section of field site and carried out stream reach, topography and aerial imagery analysis in Google Earth
