Responsible for the Econometrics programme at Virgin Media, leading multiple projects to analyse the effectiveness of marketing and promotional activities on a range of business KPIs. Working with both media and analytics agencies to ensure the portfolio of models are robust and fit for purpose, to provide answers to stakeholders key questions. Another key part of my role is to get buy-in from stakeholders across the business, ensuring that the methodology is understood to build credibility and confidence in results. These insights are then used to inform strategic decisions, optimising budgets and future marketing and promotional campaigns.

I joined Zurich Insurance Group to improve my risk awareness and commercial understanding of a variety of industries. I enjoyed adapting to the corporate culture and developed a strategic understanding of how international corporations operate which has prepared me for my future career. • On a daily basis my role consisted of extracting relevant information and researching firms and industrial sectors. Alongside this I completed pricing models in Microsoft Excel to produce preliminary quotes which I then presented to and discussed with senior colleagues.• Attended client meetings, engaging on renewal discussions, developing relationships and gaining exposure to negotiation procedures at sales meetings, in addition to attending weekly internal market meetings.• Supported the broader team by updating spreadsheets with relevant information about clients as well as looking over potential new business to outline the key risks.• Gained a broad understanding of risk exposures facing companies, improving my ability to work on multiple projects which needed to be completed to tight deadlines.
