Transmission Planning creates a reliable, economic, and open grid. The Transmission Planning department and the ISO actively engage stakeholders and public input and uses the best engineering analysis possible to determine short-term and long-term infrastructure needs. Each year, the ISO conducts its transmission planning process to identify potential system limitations as well as opportunities for system reinforcements that improve reliability and efficiency.

This program provided challenging opportunities by placing me in a number of cross-functional rotational positions. Work assignments provide a broad exposure to the ISO while also giving me an opportunity to tackle tough issues and add immediate value. Provided strategic business analysis expertise to stakeholders and other business units. My rotation included the following areas business: Policy, Operational Readiness, Project Management Office, Customer Service, Market Validation, Settlements, and Finance.
