Whilst working at Roomzzz I have learnt to check customers in and out of the hotel, be able to interact with them on a friendly level and make them feel welcomed throughout their stay, taking telephone calls and making sure that any enquiries that guests may have are answered promptly and to their satisfaction. I have learnt to deal with complaints in a professional manner and make sure that the customer is happy with their next stay and want to stay with us again. Whilst I work at the hotel I am close to getting my level 2 hospitality team member qualification and I am working towards my level 2 functional skills. I will be qualified in march

I worked as an Event Manager at a village pub in Monk Fryston. I left in October 2023 as I went onmaternity leave.My job roles were to improve sales for our function room through Facebook and email enquiries. Whencustomers do book our function room for any celebration or business meeting, I was in charge of invoicesand making sure the kitchen team meet the catering requirements of what our customer is requesting.I also organised large events to host for the full village and further public, a few examples are a gardenparty, a music festival and a charity fundraiser.

I did an apprenticeship as a healthcare assistant at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary. Assisting in meetingthe daily needs of patients and in the provision of physical and emotional care and working as partof a team to achieve the required standards. My duties were to keep up to date records on patientsand make sure that they were data protected and not accessible from anyone outside of the hospital.Help serve food and refreshments through out the day and assists the patients that couldn't feedthemselves. Assist patients with bathing and dressing themselves if needed and also remaking of bedson a morning shift or through the day if the patient needed so. I helped trained nurses to dispensemedication and again assist patients with taking their medication if needed. Also, I would sit with thepatients and gather them together so that they were able to talk and make friends with other patientsand not feel like they are stuck to their bed all day as it can be lonely for them.The reason for leaving this establishment was because I realized that it wasn't the career path iwanted to take

I did bar work and waitress at different events. I have done bar work at Doncaster races last weekend and i did waitress at a hotel in Harrogate. Skills I have learnt through working with this agency is to work a numerous amounts of shifts and unsociable hours, i would finish very early in the morning and start late at night or would work a full day. The venues were always fast paced so i had to learn quickly to make and serve guests their drinks with minimum fuss or mistakes.
