Emily Manuel is a fourth-year student at Bowling Green State University studying Communication with minors in Advertising and Leadership. She is a Dean’s List scholar, Honors College student, and member of the Sidney A. Ribeau President’s Leadership Academy (PLA), where she has learned interpersonal skills of consensus, team building, cultural competency, and active listening. To supplement her degree, she completed internships in news content writing, marketing with the PLA, and working for Pratt Industries. Emily is currently working as a Digital Brand Strategist Intern at Betco Corporation. She has served as a teaching assistant for an introductory Leadership class and currently serves as the President of the Falcon Letter Community and the Treasurer of the Media and Communication Student Association.Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she hopes to work in brand strategy, marketing, copywriting, corporate communication, or a related field.
