In response to COVID–19, the city established an economic recovery task force. Part of the recovery strategy was to form the Brisbane Business Hub. The BBH is a Co-working and event space providing free workshops, mentoring, resources, and online learning to support local Brisbane businesses, social enterprises, and not-for-profits to recover and grow during this period of economic uncertainty.

- Manage multiple high priority projects on time and on a budget in Australia and internationally.- Execute an event from brief to reconciliations while maintaining a high level of accuracy in all client files, budgets & critical paths in order to adhere to deadlines.- Maintain effective & focused communication to ensure all clients’ needs are understood, met & proactive solutions are offered professionally & within the agreed timeframes.- Maintain strong working relationships with clients and key stakeholders, resulting in repeat business and sustained relationships with key industry suppliers and destination managers- Development of event strategies and communication objectives with key client events to ensure they are aligned with Brand values the overarching event messaging objectives- Effectively negotiating and managing all group travel including flights, transfers and accommodation.- Manage expectations and provide thorough reporting for various stakeholders including but not limited to clients, suppliers, committees, Boards and delegates.- Understand & implement systems & processes throughout the business. Utilise leadership skills to develop & mentor Event Directors, Event Managers & Coordinators within the team.- Act as a role model for the team by exceeding client expectations; coaching team members on building successful behaviours, skills and knowledge required to excel; and working on programs managing more than one team member at a time.
