Adapting brick-and-mortar retail systems, procedures, and strategies to new e-business model; promoting online sales, pop-up events, and mobile workshops using a variety of marketing and networking strategies; representing the Discover Teas brand at high-energy community outreach events, including but not limited to the Peninsula Food Bank’s Tastefully Yours charity benefit event, NekoCon, BLING, and the LINK Holistic Wellness Expo; serving teas as the official tea partner for convention special events; creating budgets and expenditure projections; maintaining regular book-keeping; promoting in-store events and sales through a variety of social media (including but not limited to Facebook); researching brand-relevant history, social media trends, marketing trends, and scientific studies; creating text, graphics, and video social media content to promote Discover Teas branding, events, and product lines; preparing and presenting social media analytics reports; developing scripts to collaborate on video promotions for Discover Teas social media marketing.

Teaching workshops on tea-related activities, including the Discover Teas Egg-Dyeing with Tea Workshop (April 2017); managing store operations; implementing and systematizing inventory and restock structures; instructing customers in the basics of tea growth, harvesting, preparation, and brewing, informally and during formal in-shop classes, to promote customer retention and sales; packing and shipping tea; increasing sales by building customer rapport and suggesting custom blend ideas, supplementary tea wares, and tea selections compatible with established customer preferences/favorites.
