Approximately 3000 hours of clinical experience and 1700 hours of healthcare experience•Streamlined preoperative consults and admissions process to improve patient experience. Reduced time taken to complete preoperative consults from 6-8 hours to 2-4 hours (average).•Work closely with orthopedic surgeons, RNs, LVNs, NPs, PAs, MAs, clerks, and the following ancillary departments to coordinate 10-15 (average) preoperative consults for patients on the day(s) prior to surgery: radiology, lab, media, family services, social workers, pharmacy, developmental behavioral pediatrics, hospitalist, neurology, psychology, perioperative nurses, inpatient nurses, child life specialists, respiratory therapists, PT, OT, dietitians, orthotics & prosthetics, and clinical research•Chart the following in EPIC Hyperspace: vitals, correspondence with patients and/or guardians,•Utilize SECTRA7 to access and present various imaging modalities: x-rays, CT, MRI, US, etc. to orthopedic surgeons and members of interdisciplinary care team•Serve on patient experience taskforce to improve overall patient experience•Facilitate on-going assessment of patient and family needs and oversee implementation of interdisciplinary team plan of care.•Maintain a clean and well-organized environment for patient happiness and safety.•Observe patients for changes in physical, emotional, mental or behavioral condition and injuries.•Report concerns to nurse supervisor to promote optimal care.
