Theoretical and practical environmental research for QualiGrain project, presentation of research papers to audiences across EuropeQualiGrain: Quality of stored grain, European Commission: Building up a Decision Support System for Management and Control of Quality of Malting BarleyThe project involved collaboration with eleven European partners to create a decision support tool. The UK partner, the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, was tasked with generating data on the rate of break of dormancy in several varieties of malting barley. The output of the project was the QualiGrain tool for maltsters and store managers.
