I have always had a especially close connection to the arts. I grew up in a town that encouraged the arts more than most and I was always encouraged by my grandmother to continue pursuing them. My interest only fully developed when I started high school. I became preoccupied with drawing characters from all my favorite shoes and was inspired by these to begin creating my own little worlds. Through my growing interest in the arts I became more involved with the world around me.I have only just recently started to pursue a professional career in the field of illustration. So far I have only done a few jobs around my home town for family and friends. On top of that I have worked for several volunteer groups within my community. Through these programs I helped create posters advertising local events and also assisted with summer camps counseling young children in the arts.
