I am Program Director of the Frontiers of Research Program at the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. In addition, I am the Deputy Head of the Berlin office. The overarching goal of the Frontiers program is to build networks among researchers. We organize symposiums with partner institutes located in Brazil, China, India, Israel, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. In 2020, I successfully completed my dissertation in Sociology from the University of Bielefeld. For my dissertation, I focused on the development of the issue of aging in Germany and looked at how this topic evolved over time within the fields of academia, politics, and media. My main area of studies was political science, specifically European Union studies, which is still a great interest to me today.
