I am a highly motivated biomedical engineer with a passion for biomaterials development targeted towards 3D bioprinting applications. My doctoral research is focused on the fabrication and material and biological characterization of 3D printed in vitro biofilm models for bio-specific antibiotic development. I also have developed bioprinted models for bone and skin tissue engineering applications. I have extensive experience in materials characterization, cell culture, fluorescent microscopy, nanoparticle filtration, and statistical analysis. Through industry research positions I have gained first hand experiences in the development and approval of medical devices.
