I am the Team Leader for Allied Health and Positive Ageing at Clayton Church Homes. Working across 5 sites I manage a team of exercise physiologists, physiotherapists, positive ageing coordinators and positive ageing assistants to deliver our positive ageing programs to residents. In 2023, I introduced the reABLE program at CCH. A 6-week intensive exercise physiology led restorative program run through CCH’s positive ageing team. Furthermore I have created and developed positive ageing activity programs at CCH including drumfit, flow, spin and wellness walks. I was the team leader for the development of 4 new gyms across the CCH sites including the planning, organisation and implementation of gym facilities and programs which are now open to residents and members of the community. I have lead the allied health team in falls prevention at CCH, with the implementation of falls committees at each site where I chair the committee and introduce effective falls prevention strategies for our residents.
