I am a Certified Health Education Specialist. I earned a Bachelors degree in sports medicine and health education. I have a Masters degree in Community Health and a Doctorate in Public Health. I have earned multiple awards such as the national ALA Congress of Lung Association Staff Excellence Award in Program Development (2009) and the US EPA Tools for Schools Excellence Award (2004). I have been conducting asthma education & training in Honduras through Central American Medical Outreach (CAMO) since 2009. I became a Certified Asthma Educator in 2012.
