About Emily Liss
Originally hailing from the agricultural state of Vermont, I spent four years working as a farmer and farm educator across New England. This experience inspired me to pursue my M.S. at the Friedman School at Tufts University in the Agriculture, Food, and Environment program. I concentrated in Natural Resource Management, and also completed a certificate program in Water Systems. I’m interested in exploring the intersections between agriculture, soil and water health, and climate change, with the goal of promoting agricultural practices that are actively beneficial to farmers, ecosystems, and the climate.
