Having studied Development and Emergency Practice as part of my Masters, I became interested in the link, or lack of between design within sustainable community development and post disaster reconstruction situations.As part of my dissertation I created Rogue Architecture which aimed to promote and create valuable design projects and creative ideas which could begin addressing wider issues within developing communities. In 2012 I was awarded the ISA Award, this enabled me to travel extensively, both for research purposes and also design projects within communities relating to this concept. Additionally I have become involved in small scale local projects in London and Oxford, with organizations which I hope to continue to collaborate with. These projects and selected research work are published on my website: www.roguearchitecture.co.uk, in the hope that it may spark interest amongst designers and promote projects within this field.
