I currently work as an Insights Analyst at the Federal Government's Australian Digital Health Agency. As a member of their Research, Analytics and Data Branch I have contributed to the delivery of various research projects, including time and motion studies, data analyses, surveys, workshops and interviews. I have also conducted data gathering activities, including literature reviews and social media scans. As a previous member of their graduate program, I also completed the Australian Public Services' Graduate Development Program through the Australian Public Service Academy. In 2022, I was the Policy Officer at the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences. This role allowed me to liaise with Australia's best health and medical researchers; gathering their collective insights and formulating the Academy's position on Australian health policy and healthcare delivery through policy briefs, inquiry submissions and reports.I completed my Master of Epidemiology (Clinical) in 2022 and my Bachelor of Health Sciences (Public Health) in 2020, both at the University of Queensland. Through my postgraduate studies I undertook a dissertation with the UQ Poche Centre for Indigenous Health and the Institute of Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH). I analysed cardiovascular health outcomes of primary healthcare consumers engaged in a pod health delivery model at IUIH over time. Whilst at UQ, I carried out a student placement at the Council on the Ageing Queensland, focusing on combatting social isolation in older adults during periods of physical distancing using ICT. This review was published in the Australasian Journal on Ageing.During my studies I was fortunate to hold multiple jobs engaging high school students, educating them about study skills and tertiary education pathways. Through these experiences, I have learnt how to communicate with a variety of audiences, be flexible, time manage and work to a high standard.
