I was also responsible for organising a nationwide disability inclusive employment conference. From August 2011 – June 2012 I led a small administrative support team to manage the implementation of the APS Indigenous Traineeship program. This involved the conduct of large scale recruitment processes; regular liaison with APS agencies and applicants to advise processes, procedures and relevant legislation, and the provision of advice on a range of Indigenous employment issues; and progress reporting and briefs to Government.
