Patterns, trends, and analytics has been an interest before my professional career even started. Now that I have been in the workforce, I believe that company success cannot be achieved without the power of analytics. I started my career as a Junior Data Analyst at a financial technology company. Team shifts gave me the early opportunity to lead a team of analysts at only 7 months at the job, helping me understand how to manage projects, set goals, and explain my ideas and thoughts to whatever level of employee I found myself in front of. This opportunity led me to where I currently am, a Senior Data Analyst in Revenue Operations at Instructure. I work specifically with the renewals team, providing business insights to help them succeed, while also compiling forecasts and reporting for board and executive team reporting. This new position has been a perfect intersection of my interests and strengths: I am also currently the head coach of a local high school track team, so being able to use my analytical knowledge to power their learning platform, as well as using my track and field knowledge to power their athletic achievements is truly a unique opportunity that I am taking advantage of.
