Emily Macleod is a Senior Research Associate at Day Zero Diagnostics, Inc at Day Zero Diagnostics, Inc. Colleagues describe her as "I worked with Emily for over two years at Phase Genomics. She is a creative problem solver; she helped me develop & streamline the production of molecular biology reagents and eventually managed the entire process herself. She went above and beyond her job title and took on PhD-level R&D projects on top of her production role. Emily also recruited more members of the production team, wisely allocated resources, and trained new employees. Emily is also extremely organized and is a natural project manager, she aided in the development of both a project management system and a QC system. Emily is also a highly-skilled molecular biologist and is very detail-oriented. On a personal note, Emily is a great mentee and is fantastic to work with; she is optimistic, a team player, and uplifts those she works with. Emily will be a great addition to any scientific team and I am excited for this Woman in STEM to continue to innovate!"
