Built relationships with local businesses to secure sponsorships; solicited vendors, exhibitors and entertainment for the event. Created groups to perform various event activities. Served as a contributing member of the planning committee for the Back to School Event; tasked with spearheading theme development for the event and working with departmental directors to develop event roadmap. Worked closely with local schools, non-profits and businesses to coordinate event logistics. Built partnerships with Walmart and Target to secure 1K backpacks for the giveaway at Back to School Event. Coordinated and led El Dia de los Niños Children’s Festival, working closely with teachers, administrators and students to organize a field trip for students. Managed implementation of an online educational mathematics and literacy curriculum at multiple sites.
