Actively creates, plans, and implements academically-enriched and globally focused programs (lectures, trainings, workshops, etc.) held through the Quainton Center for Global Engagement. Supports international student retention efforts including data collection, analysis and implementation of new programs and projects.

Planned, coordinated, and implemented the Council's public programming efforts in collaboration with the President & CEO. These 35+ programs each year focused on diverse topics of global and local importance, including diversity and inclusion in the region, and reached a wide range of individuals representing the greater Pittsburgh community.Managed the Council's weekly pre-recorded radio show, The Pittsburgh Global Press Conference, which included identifying speakers, drafting background materials and scripts, performing research, and conducting interviews as needed.

Assisted in the design and coordination of education programs on international topics. The Council's nearly 100 programs organized each school year reach thousands of secondary school students in southwestern Pennsylvania. Programs take place virtually (via video conference) connecting students across the globe, as well as locally through small, medium, and large sized conferences. Offered professional development support to area secondary school teachers and administrators.Provided grant writing and reporting, and communications support as needed.

Involved in every aspect of the Grant Center Initiative, a project developed to help public media stations identify and secure federal and foundation funding.Researched federal funding opportunities for public media stations in light of federal budget cuts; interviewed public media stations that secured federal funding and published success stories online; and compiled timely funding news releases to keep stations up to date on the federal policy landscape.Provided maintenance and oversight to the Grant Center website and online funding database, as well as coordinated the planning and logistics for the Grant Center’s monthly webinar series.Served as the social media point person for the Grant Center; maintaining twitter feed and other social media platforms.
