I was a full stack developer for HelioScope, the leading software in commercial scale solar power design. I designed and developed many full stack features critical to product launch. As a leading frontend developer, I defined and maintained core frontend libraries to improve developer velocity and application consistency.While there I founded the company’s DEI program advocating for and creating change in the hiring and career development processes as well as employee wellbeing.Company was acquired by Aurora Solar in 2021.

As the technical lead, I set the technical direction for the entire engineering team by creating roadmaps, writing tech specs, scoping projects, and reviewing code. I led development of end-to-end features for the digital product experience, including optimizing the signup flow and ordering flows, launching new products, and rebranding the website.

As an early engineering hire, I led the development of many full stack features that expanded operational capabilities leading to significant improvements in retention and customer growth.I built systems for managing company resources and automating business processes in real-time across multiple teams, reducing operational efficiencies across the company.

Researched Arctic sea-ice extent and seasonality as well as circulation on the East Greenland Shelf. Developed software for modeling and data assimilation.
