I planted my roots in Chicago in the summer of 2021. In my move to the city I planted my roots in the cannabis industry as well. Working in the cannabis industry has been an experience that took my passion for cannabis and put it into speed drive. I have gained immense knowledge about not only products we sell in store but the complexity of the plant itself. More importantly, I am familiar with the many kinds of people who walk through the doors of a dispensary, the many kinds of people who come to purchase the plant and those who are curious to better understand the plant in all its glory. It comes as a second nature to me to spread knowledge because I am also a teacher. I freelance and work for Traveling Music Lessons to teach all ages private voice, piano, and guitar. Music is vital to me as a human being, just like cannabis. Cannabis and music go hand in hand as they are both a root for creativity, community, and collaboration. I love that I work in two industries I am truly passionate about. I recently have started working with Live Nation with the Box Office department. While this is a new venture for me, I am very passionate on this new journey of working in live music events. I'm elated to be a part of improving guests experiences at a show because experiencing a concert is my personal favorite joy in life and I want to spread that joy around me!
