About Emily Morris

I am a current Academic Foundation Doctor working within the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and an aspiring academic cardiologist. I am the current Foundation Doctor Representative for the BCS Women in Cardiology Committee. In this national position, I have co-led the ‘Becoming a Cardiologist’ project alongside supporting the ‘Cardiology Survival Skills’ teaching series. My research to date has investigated virtual A&E triage systems, home blood pressure monitoring schedules and the link between iron deficiency and congenital heart defects. This year I will extend my interest in Cardiac imaging by working on the SLENDER-HF clinical trial with the Rider Group at OCMR.
