I am a recent graduate of Whitman College, Class of 2024, with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Minor in Creative Writing, and I am actively pursuing a career in healthcare with a focus on nursing. My journey in healthcare has been shaped by hands-on experience, leadership roles, and a strong commitment to serving others.I’ve always been drawn to helping people, which is why I became Wilderness First Responder Certified (WFR) and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). These experiences, alongside volunteering and working in healthcare settings, have given me a solid foundation in patient care.As a lifetime member of Girl Scouts and a Gold Award recipient, I learned early on the importance of leadership, resilience, and community service. For my Gold Award project, I had the opportunity to create a self-sustaining food pantry in an underserved community—an experience that deepened my commitment to helping others and finding sustainable solutions to everyday problems.I’m excited to continue my journey in nursing, where I can combine my scientific background with hands-on care to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. I’m constantly seeking opportunities to learn and grow, and I’m especially interested in pursuing nursing specialties down the road.
