I have been a Science and Sexual Health Educator in California for over ten years. Through my partnerships with non-profits in the Bay Area, I am committed to delivering CHYA Compliant, Comprehensive Sex Education to your students. With school districts at Shelter in Place throughout the state; I am here to provide solutions for distance learning.I have acted as department chair at my own school site, and each year coordinate and facilitate our school’s Science Fair, in which every student participates. This requires communication with our school facilities, district directors and volunteers. It then leads to accompanying the winners at the district level. My impact also goes beyond my own department into the whole school community. I have been invited to teach professional development to the staff on my campus as well as inviting observers into my classroom.I was a Lead Tech Mentor during our district’s roll out of Apple products to each staff member. In this role I facilitated many trainings using the MacBook Air, Google Classroom, and AppleTV. During my last year at FMSD, I acted as Webmaster for my school site. As a NewTechNetwork school I also lead the way in using the ECHO platform for instruction and I was asked to give trainings to staff and parents in its use. I also took an active role in our schools' recruitment efforts.
