- Responsible for the provision of high-level public health nutrition support to the Miwatj region- Consulted on and designed a four-year organisational Food Security & Nutrition Strategy- Drafted a submission to the Parliamentary Inquiry into Food Pricing and Food Security in Remote Indigenous Communities- Collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to implement nutrition and health promotion initiatives in other public health and clinical programs- Identified structural barriers and advocacy opportunities to promote public health nutrition in remote communities- Managed monitoring and evaluation of nutrition indicators across Miwatj communities- Contributed to continuous quality improvement- Developed, implemented, monitored and evaluated culturally relevant education resources- Identified and pursued opportunities for the expansion of the nutrition workforce

- Co-managed a project examining the mental health of dietetic students from 14 universities across Australia and New Zealand- Coordinated ethics applications, conduct data collection, support funding applications and manage communications across research sites

- Worked with a multidisciplinary team to deliver remote primary healthcare outreach in five rural and remote Top End Communities- Provided culturally safe dietetic services with a strong focus on Indigenous health- Supported the implementation of nutrition policies at schools, day cares and aged care centres and helped them to access and provide healthy food and beverage choices- Worked with community stakeholders to deliver nutrition education workshops- Collaborated in the development of culturally safe nutrition resources- Supported rural and remote retail environments to promote healthier food and drink choices- Contributed to the update and delivery of the Nutrition Module for Aboriginal Health Practitioner trainees

- Provided technical support to project proposals on aflatoxin control and mitigation in foods and on the governance of street foods- Analysed the National Agricultural Extension Policy and Strategy to establish its responsiveness to nutrition and coordinated a validation workshop with civil society stakeholders- Built relationships with other civil society organisations and ensured those relationships were sustainable after my departure- Framed my work using international standards such as using Codex Alimentarius (FAO-WHO) to structure a review Uganda's food safety system

- Worked with a team to develop, implement and evaluate culturally safe nutrition campaigns and education materials- Reviewed current evidence on the state of knowledge of vitamin D, folate and iron status within the Territory- Worked with key stakeholders to revise nutrition policies on vitamin D and iron deficiency- Effectively communicated nutrition-related information to a distributed network of Community Health Workers across the Territory through in-person and online video trainings- Prepared time-sensitive briefs and reports to support the Minister of Health in the Legislature- Independently administered and managed contracts worth up to $75,000

- Assumed this role from June-August for four years- Oversaw 21 direct reports who cumulatively supervised 55 staff- Managed professional and interpersonal conflict amongst my team- Implemented a new staff evaluation structure that encouraged feedback- Supported head staff with management of their teams, including in conflict resolution and team motivation

- Welcomed patients and their families to the clinic- Supported the facilitation of flu shot clinics- Coordinated appointments with Paediatricians and Specialists- Responded to general inquiries from patients- Completed general administration duties

- Assumed this role in 2008, 2010 and 2012- Coordinated all registration, travel, room and board, food and venue arrangements for association and board members- Communicated with embassies, consulates and the HR back office in regards to visa, insurance and travel arrangements for the National staff who will attend- Organized volunteers on the weekend of the conference to assist with registration, food preparations, airport pickup and overall coordination- Managed the overall event budget of approximately $45,000
