  • University Of Toronto Aerospace Team
    Member Of Utat Rocketry Division
University Of Toronto Aerospace Team Sep 2023 - May 2024
Currently working with the Aerodynamics Team of the UTAT Rocketry division:-Working on the project of simulating the effects of introducing external fairings on the sides of the 2023/24 rocket, through CFD analysis using ANSYS-Responsible for training recruits in ANSYS usage.
  • University Of Toronto Institute For Aerospace Studies
    Undergraduate Student Researcher
University Of Toronto Institute For Aerospace Studies May 2023 - Sep 2023
    Toronto, Ontario, Canada
    - Worked in the Experimental Fluid Dynamics Laboratory, focusing on the development and design of a 3-D printed aircraft slat model and optimizing its aerodynamic properties.- Conducted iterative model optimization of the slat design and the spline wedge based on CFD simulations results (using ANSYS Fluent) on different models.- Performed pressure and wall properties comparisons to study sources of flow separation and noise generation associated with high lift devices.- Contributed to the wind tunnel experimental process by assisting in data acquisition (using MATLAB), setting up pressure tubes, and integrating Kevlar walls to facilitate far-field noise measurements.- Actively involved in documenting and analyzing experimental results to support ongoing research efforts.- Co-hosted the "Flow Control and Aeroacoustics (FlowConAc)" Workshop

    Interim Executive & Sponsorship Director
University Of Toronto Human Powered Vehicles Design Team - Hpvdt Apr 2023 - Jun 2023
-Managed the development of the team's marketing material.-Developed and implemented a timeline to increase sponsorship opportunities.
  • University Of Toronto Human Powered Vehicles Design Team - Hpvdt
    General Member
University Of Toronto Human Powered Vehicles Design Team - Hpvdt Jan 2023 - Jun 2023
During my tenure with HPVDT, I made contributions to the human-powered aircraft (HPA) project. My role involved both manufacturing and computational work. -In manufacturing, I focused on the wing's trailing edge, shaping ribs, selecting materials, and experimenting with carbon fiber sheeting. I employed CNC and hands-on techniques for rib bundling and iterating designs based on rigorous tests.-In the realm of computational work, I used Xfoil to validate our theoretical assumptions about the wing's aerodynamics. This included producing and analyzing pressure plots over a reference airfoil. Additionally, I worked on the tail spar design project, using SolidWorks CAD to create a structure supporting applied forces. This involved integrating a static prop-shaft, a rudder, an elevator, and a motor, while considering constraints such as model disassembly, weight, and cost. Structural simulations in SolidWorks was also employed to test different tail spar layering under various forces, enhancing my skills in CAD and structural simulations. These experiences have provided me with a holistic understanding of engineering, encompassing design, manufacturing, and computational analysis, making me adept at addressing complex engineering challenges.
  • University Of Toronto Aerospace Team
General Member Of Utat Rocketry Division
University Of Toronto Aerospace Team Jan 2023 - Apr 2023
Enhanced my manufacturing skills by working on the Airframe Composites sub-team.
  • University Of Toronto Aerospace Team
Author For Utat Aerospace Policy And Law Division
University Of Toronto Aerospace Team Oct 2021 - Jun 2022
During my time at UTAT Aerospace Policy and Law Division, I co-authored a conference paper for the 9ᵀᴴ EUROPEAN CONFERENCE FOR AERONAUTICS AND SPACE SCIENCES (EUCASS) titled “A Concept of Operations for a Sustainable Human-Centred Lunar Settlement by Integrating State-of-the-Art ISRU Technologies”. The paper was published on EUCASS’ official website in September 2022. Additionally, I crafted an article that highlighted some of the milestones in space exploration during the year of 2021.
