- Led pilot implementation of the Marigold Health app with 16 clinics across MA in 4 months; trained 25 clinic staff on Marigold’s proprietary web portal and app.- Conducted 150+ patient interviews at substance use treatment centers across MA- Developed a resource group and Spanish-English bilingual group to better serve patient needs discovered in interviews; 25% of patients on Marigold are in these groups- Tracked and reported outcomes data to key stakeholders; led initiative to re-engage patients experiencing technical difficulties, which increased engagement by 100%- Flagged and escalated concerning in-app behavior to providers to facilitate immediate in-person intervention; reporting from staff and Marigold patient members indicated that this process has prevented 4 relapses

- Facilitated healthy grocery shopping and cooking workshops to 500+ participants in low-income communities throughout Massachusetts.- Coordinated volunteers during 6-week cooking and nutrition courses, and provided volunteers with consistent communication and constructive feedback. - Conducted programming in English and Spanish, and adapted programming materials and information for audiences with diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. - Created and posted content of Cooking Matters MA social media outreach on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook

- Investigated the social and ecological influence of urban agriculture in a tropical climate- Reviewed literature on insect studies in and literature obtained through gardener interviews on the social and ecological value of urban gardens in San Cristobal- Conducted vegetation surveys of eight local urban gardens through estimating composition of percent cover, and identifying and recording tree and plant species.

- Created the weekly Environmental Studies Newsletter with a reader base of over 500 students, faculty, and alumnae- Researched and compiled relevant jobs, internships, and programs from job boards, and compiled campus events

“Investigating the Effects of Legume Mulching on Carbon and Nitrogen Fluxes of Small Scale Agriculture”- Conceptualized and implemented an experimental design to measure effect of mulch on leafy greens in 12 treatment replications and 12 control replications.- Delegated in-field data collection work and data uploading to other lab members- Collected photosynthesis, soil respiration, biomass and soil samples- Applied knowledge of R Studio to analyze data using statistical tests and create graphical representations of data

- Completed a four-week course on the relationship between climate and ocean systems and related field techniques- Collected soil cores, biomass samples, measured plant heights, and made plant percent cover estimates- Familiarized with physical field work in exposed, wet, muddy, buggy conditions- Synthesized data and orally presented my research findings at an audience of scientists and community members
