I love working with people and animals. Especially when my work benefits animal advocacy, and conservation, or the arts. As a Visitor Engagement Specialist at the Museum of Photographic Arts, as well as an Educator for SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo, I have had the honor of working directly with the public, educating them on everything from Edward Weston to endangered species, perspective to penguins, and composition to climate science! As a volunteer caregiver for Nurtured by Nature, an animal awareness non-profit famous for its otter experience, I have trained in the care and maintenance of a variety of animals. It has given me the amazing opportunity to get close and personal with the type of wildlife I otherwise would never have access to.My second passion in life is acting and theatre, and so it’s no surprise that I have fallen into roles where I get to engage with the public. As I gain experience and determine the direction and purpose of my young career, I am simultaneously building valuable skillsets in public speaking, advocacy, animal welfare, student outreach and education, and customer relations. Where ever I choose to go, I know that it will involve helping animals and educating/entertaining people.
