At Sutter, I write copy and create digital content that enhances user experience. Responsibilities include research and analysis, interviews, writing, review and editing, plus using editorial, SEO, UX and online best practices.

I write copy and create content for a variety of audiences and purposes, including retail, travel and tourism, and lifestyle publications. Some of the companies I've worked with include Dolphin Blue, State of Washington Tourism, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle. I also work with individual authors to proofread, copy edit, and fact check their writing.

Pitched, interviewed, and wrote feature length health and wellness articles. Managed and updated UW Medicine's editorial style guide, developed and maintained house style guides for Right as Rain (external website) and The Huddle (internal website), and proofread communications content. Produced and deployed email newsletters in Marketo and Eloqua.

Wrote and edited print and digital material for a variety of clients, such as Port of Seattle, Visit Seattle, Washington State Wine Commission, and The 5th Avenue Theatre. Created monthly email newsletters and branded sponsor content. Managed the internship and journalism residency program, including hiring, training, day-to-day mentoring, and evaluations.

Helped schedule and oversee a six week conference for John Hopkins University's Center for Talented Youth, organized overnight summer sports camps, and managed day-to-day office tasks.

Worked for Post Bellum, a nonprofit organization located in Prague that records witnesses’ memories of 20th century historical phenomenon, particularly totalitarian regimes. Main tasks included copywriting, creating presentations, editing witness stories, and editing English translations of grant proposals and legal contracts.

Mentored first year students: provided academic resources, held office hours, planned events, and created intentional community.

Worked on the founding editorial team with a faculty supervisor to create the university’s inaugural research journal from the ground up. Handled administrative tasks and managed annual auction (created excel mailing list, designed and updated auction website, and helped manage the night-of tasks and volunteers).

Helped lead Seattle University's transfer honor society. Executed all writing tasks, planned events, and presented at the annual induction ceremony.

Called parents and alumni of Seattle University to share current events, SU news, and to ask for monetary support for the annual SU Fund.
