As a Marketing Intern at YVR, I'm privileged to support the Marketing, Partnerships, and Advertising Team in executing various marketing initiatives. From in-terminal activations to commercial marketing efforts, I contribute to enhancing the passenger experience and driving engagement.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate on campaign planning and content development to ensure effective messaging.- Assist in organizing and executing in-terminal events aimed at enriching the passenger journey.

The Resident Advisor (RA) lives on site within campus and is the front line of the administration team. Responsible for the safety and support of the students living in housing, and for fostering a positive, focused on student success. Works as a team with other RAs in housing.

In charge of taking photos and creating social media content for the camp. Also in charge of website creation and emails.

Was in charge of preparation of the medic area including the medic’s office and infirmary, this included the organization and purchase of medical supplies, and implementing safety and emergency procedures. In charge of signing in medications, administering medications, signing out medications at the end of camps, and responding to emergency and medical situations as needed. Maintained a record of all medical interactions between campers and staff. Was available 24 hours a day for campers/staff who may have become ill during the evening.

Contributed to Starbucks success by assisting the store manager execute store operations. Including deploying partners and delegating tasks so that the team can create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for the customers. Responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with the principles of Starbucks Canada. Also responsible for training new hires, cash management, and creating a welcoming Third Place environment.

Supported sales plan through effective and efficient merchandise management. Complied with a standard to ensure that promotional material was being properly displayed on time. Executed decision making skills and problem-solving skills. Established a stamina for working shifts of all time frames mostly overnight shifts from 9pm-6am.

In charge of taking clients out for activities/outings and spending time one on one with clients.

Independently take care of small health care facilities with 4-6 clients. I had the responsibility to work alone and stay with the clients for 4 day 24 hour shifts. This included cooking, cleaning, client care, and medication administration.

Tasked with maintaining store fixtures and making sure everything remained stocked and available. Was part of a small team of stock associates who unpacked shipments, added tags, and organized all product.

Ran all opening and closing store operations with one other staff member. This included the preparation of toppings and making of the yogurt base. Also included maintenance of the machines to ensure smooth operations.

The position involved both administrative tasks, as well as mentorship. Assisted with staff training during staff training week worked with the Year Round Team in assisting with tasks that may need to be done. Prepared training material for Seasonal Staff, created schedules, and participated in dreaming and brainstorming sessions. During the Months of July-Aug, was direct oversight, including being involved in the hiring process, provided mentorship and evaluation, modeled effective leadership practices, and ensuring the team preformed duties to expected standards. Responsible for disciplinary measures that arose involving both campers and staff. Oftentimes resulted in contacting parents/guardians and interacting with clientele.

Maintained cleanliness of buildings to ensure everything was running smoothly. Was in charge of connecting with the groups being hosted to ensure their stay was pleasant, oftentimes included running/teaching activities (archery, wall climbing, etc). Ran meal times and was on call 24/7.

As a crew member at McDonalds I grew my knowledge in communication by connecting with guests. Had many tasks such as taking orders and processing payments, preparing food and drinks, assembling orders and packaging take-out. Also worked hard to keep all surfaces clean and sanitary to ensure the safety for guests and fellow crew members.
