I am responsible for managing the promotion and positioning of Edwards & Co across Australia and New Zealand. Edwards & Co plans to establish itself as a global brand and I play a key role in the growth of our brand and acquisition of new markets.I take the lead on creating and executing marketing campaigns and new product launches in line with the overarching marketing plan. This includes evaluating performance results and presenting to the wider team.

I am responsible for creating and delivering engaging content for the Edwards & Co brand. I am guided by the brand DNA and marketing strategy when developing content for social media and encourage a highly-involved audience across all social channels. Roles and responsibilities include collaborating with a design team for photoshoots; composing and sending regular eDMs; posting daily on social media; writing blogs; taking photo and video content; marketing and coordinating events across Australia and NZ; working with the CEO on new product campaigns, key messaging and launches; and managing and updating areas of the website.My role is home-based with fortnightly meetings at HQ.

Beef + Lamb New Zealand Inc is responsible for the generic domestic marketing of beef and lamb. This role involves resource development for consumers and health professionals, ensuring pamphlets and online resources include evidence-based science with messaging appropriate for each target market. I regularly answer consumer enquiries and provide nutrition messages to various media. I deal directly with health professionals via conference tradestands, including midwives, nurses, dietitians and nutrition science academics. The health and nutrition portfolio allows me the opportunity to speak to parents at a local parents centre about introducing solid foods to their infant. This role includes recipe and nutrient analysis; media monitoring; and keeping updated with latest scientific findings. I am currently a member of the International Meat Secretariat's Committee for Human Nutrition and Health. Further membership includes Associate Registration with the Nutrition Society of New Zealand and Dietitians NZ.As part of the marketing portfolio I am responsible for writing press releases and responses to media.I lead a global campaign, World Iron Awareness Week, which combines both the nutrition portfolio and marketing/events portfolios. It is an annual campaign highlighting the prevalence of iron deficiency in New Zealand and worldwide. This involves communicating the issue of iron deficiency via a dedicated website, resources at conferences/symposiums, and via messages to media outlets. I organise nutrition symposiums for health professionals and write content for newsletters.
