·Sample preparation and extraction using manual, automated or instrumental methods in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and recognized methods. o Laboratory expertise with extraction methods including separatory funnel of waters via 3510C , soils, sludges, sediments via MSE 3570, soxhlet soils and air media PUFs, waste dilution, and tissue extraction. Skill set includes macro concentration via SEVAP and BUCHI, micro concentration via NEVAP, silica gel cleanup, alumina cleanup, copper cleanup, and GPC cleanup. o Preparation of reagents and standards o Ensuring compliance with QA and SOPs o Disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with Chemical Hygiene Plan o Adherence to Health & Safety protocolso Work independently with Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN’s) within Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
