I am a Maryland Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I earned my Masters Degree from Johns Hopkins University and have been working in the field for over 10 years. I have counseled children, families, and individuals at all stages of life. Building a positive and trusting therapeutic relationship as the vehicle for growth is the core of my practice. I am compassionate about providing clients with a warm, supportive space to explore and discover the possibility of change. I enjoy working with clients to find helpful tools and strategies to cope with life’s challenges. I am dedicated to identifying and building on client’s strengths, promoting self-awareness, and helping client’s build meaningful relationships.​I enjoy working with teens, adults, couples and families experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, parenting skills, self-improvement, transitional life issues, learning differences, relationship issues, self esteem, fertility issues, prenatal and postpartum depression. I have experience and advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF- CBT), Supportive Parenting For Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness modalities.
