Emily Platt is an Assistant Vice President of Investments at Wealthspire Advisors, supporting the firm’s Chief Market Strategist. She brings her client service experience and incorporates that into her research and recommendations on asset allocation, manager research and due diligence with a focus on impact investing. Additionally, Emily serves as deputy Chair of Wealthspire's Diversity & Inclusion committee as well as a member of the Endowment Committee. Prior to her role at Wealthspire, Emily was an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in Technology Media & Telecom at Wells Fargo Securities in New York City.Emily graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Finance. She also holds a certificate in financial planning from Georgetown University, a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute and is a Certified Financial Planner practitioner.While she pursues investments full-time, Emily is also an active member of the Ellevate Network, where she served more than three years on the leadership team as Co-President of the Washington DC Chapter. She also serves as a Board Member for Redefine Her Street (www.redefineherstreet.com), a non-profit organization focused on promoting gender and institutional diversity in finance and consulting, volunteers with Savvy Ladies and is a fellow of James Madison University's Foundation Board.
