I am an Earth science, climate, and energy specialist with a background in teaching, research, project management and science communication. I spent about 10 years as a research scientist and teacher, using ancient rocks to understand the processes driving Earth’s evolution, and teaching about the geochemical processes that shape atmospheric composition and climate. I am passionate about leveraging the skills I gained as an Earth scientist – careful observation, quantitative analysis, and effective communication of complex ideas – to identify and promote concrete solutions to the climate crisis, and to accelerate the global community thoughtfully and efficiently towards a net-zero carbon future.
