Divisional Administrator
CurrentAssists the Director of Career, Technical and Adult Education in- the development of strategic plans & supports site-based strategic planning in all Secondary Career & Technical instructional programs- planning a secondary program that aligns with NYS Learning Standards & graduation requirements- coordination of long and short-term planning for the development & improvement of teaching & learning- program development for secondary CTE programs- recruitment for instructional, administrative, clerical & paraprofessional positionsSupervises the- creation, revision & implementation of curriculum & assessment- in-district programs & the development of new requests- Supervises & evaluates personnel including principalsOversees the - business & industry advisory council for secondary programs & the management of WBL coordinator team- development and implementation of new CoSers & programsIs responsible for - the planning, organization & direct implementation of all secondary professional development activities, including the CTE Induction Program- support to building administrators for the daily operation of all secondary CTE programs - staff training to ensure continuous program development and improvement of services- Close working relationships with component districts, community & State agencies & businesses, industries, & labor organizations to provide programs consistent with their needs- Collaboration with DEI office & DASA committee to ensure communication of goals, work product & outcomes- Membership & participation in professional societies for the advancement of instructional programs - Liaison functions at the direction of the Director - Statistical analysis to determine the effectiveness of program- Evaluates teacher observations & evaluations throughout the school year- Collaborates with other divisional and program administrators to identify staff development needs & assure appropriate in-service education
