As the graphic designer at Native Plant Trust, I ensured all designs--print and digital--followed the organization's brand standards. I oversaw the design of all publications, including magazines, newsletters, and catalogs, advertising for print and web, signage for facilities, sanctuaries, and merchandise, as well as stationery and business cards.I also managed Native Plant Trust's digital image archives and hired, managed, and scheduled photographers to expand and diversify the organization's media library.

Manomet is a nonprofit that uses science and collaboration to improve the health of flyways, coastal ecosystems, and working lands and seas. I managed content across Manomet's communications vehicles and worked to ensure that the organization achieved its plans for growth and impact through strategic, compelling storytelling. As Manomet's Senior Manager of Communications, I:- Managed Manomet’s editorial calendar- Developed regular communications assets for the organization including newsletters and magazines- Ensured Manomet had written assets for distribution on all of its focal areas including shorebird conservation, migratory songbird research, climate science, and coastal habitat management- Coordinated media placement and outreach- Oversaw content for Manomet's social media channels

Conducted avian point count and vegetation surveys across saltmarshes of Rhode Island over a 2-month span. Data contributed to the Saltmarsh Habitat and Avian Research Program's efforts in conservation of east coast saltmarsh habitats.

Assistant to lead field technician. Conducted vegetation surveys across Wellfleet's heathland ecosystem. Data contributed to two long term studies recording changes in plant populations over time.

Urban agriculture and sustainable food development intern. Assisted in development of a self-run governance committee of urban garden projects in Roger Williams Park, Providence, RI.
