I am a freelance human rights and business consultant working in close collaboration with a variety of organisations. My professional and academic background is in human rights and I have spent the last 15 years working on the development and integration of human rights programmes within organisations (in line with the UN Guiding Principles). I work in a variety of sectors including mining, food and agriculture, tourism and heavy industries. I have extensive experience in developing and conducting human rights impact assessments, stakeholder engagement and the development and delivery of training for a variety of private companies. I also conduct high level research and analysis (through site visit and interview) on human rights and the private sector for NGOs and international organisations including the European Commission, UNICEF, the South African Human Rights Commission and others. .
