My duties included monitoring changes and health of the garden space, performing daily chores to care for plants and animals, creating 45 minute activities for spring and summer camp attendees, identifying and monitoring problems in the garden and fixing them when needed, chaperoning 1st-6th grade students on field trips, evaluating and managing kids' behavior at camp, harvesting and processing fruits and vegetables for market, and creating recipes and value-added goods using ingredients grown in the garden.

I worked closely with many English language learners and students transitioning from high school to college level writing requirements. Additionally, I worked one-on-one with English Language Learners in ELL conversation sessions to help students who want to improve their conversational English. -
