I am a dual Bachelor of Laws (Honours) / Bachelor of Arts Graduate from the University of Queensland. I am currently completing my Practical Legal Training (PLT) and a Law Graduate position with Hall and Wilcox. I have extensive experience drafting research articles that examine the impact of legislative and policy changes on relevant stakeholders in both a legal and geopolitical context. This includes substantial research projects that examine the impacts of technology (social media platforms) on foreign elections, the rise of ‘lone wolf’ terrorism and the resulting impact on policy decisions; and the ‘demand side’ factors that give rise to authoritarian governments. Shorter research articles include examining legislative changes to the Manufactured Homes Legislation in Queensland and the impact on the investment sector that could result and multiple judicial case reviews, outlining the relevant facts, issues before the court and the decision, as well as the impact on potential stakeholders. I enjoy volunteering in my spare time and have spent time at the LGBTI Legal Service in Brisbane and now as a Mentor with ABCN. In my down time I participate in multiple extra-curricular activities including playing footy and cooking.
